Dr. Rebecca Housel, the #PopCultureProfessor, is an international best-selling author and editor; her work in popular culture is published in nine languages and sold in 30 countries (and counting). Housel is an award-winning professor with a 20-year career in the classroom. She is also a national pop culture expert for publications like the LA Times, USA Today, Vibe.com, Salon.com, and, the Huffington Post. Dr. Housel is also an international speaker for Comic Cons around the world; she is best known for her shows on the Whedonverse & the history of the supernatural in pop culture stretching back 12,000 years. The Doc was on tour with Wizard World for 3 years as the first female scholar in the U.S. to study comics and as the first female moderator for Comic Con.
